(Student) Pilot in Real Life ✈️

Besides my passion for flight simulation, I am also a student pilot in real life.
I currently fly ultralight aircraft (ULM), with most of my training done on the Tecnam platform.

Why I Fly

  • ✈️ Fascination for aviation from an early age
  • 📚 Combining theoretical knowledge with practical flying
  • 🎯 Goal: building skills and confidence step by step, both in real cockpits and in simulation

Training

  • Primary training on Tecnam aircraft
  • Focus on the basics: navigation, communication, and safe handling
  • Gradual progress towards cross-country and instrument familiarity
  • Winner of the ULM trainee award for the Aalter Air Rally 2024

Sim ↔ Real Life

My experience with DCS F-16 simulation helps me:

  • Stay disciplined with checklists and procedures
  • Practice radio work and situational awareness
  • Build a stronger foundation before and after real training sessions

Looking Ahead

Flying is a journey.
Being a student pilot means constantly learning, improving, and enjoying every step along the way.
My aim is to continue developing both in simulation and in real life, always chasing the joy of flight.
