Doomsday – A Concert We’re Putting Together
For a while now, a few friends and I have been talking about organizing our own concert—something that brings together bands we love, in a setting that feels raw, intense, and real. After plenty of planning, it’s finally happening: Doomsday is coming to life.
The idea behind it is simple: a night of heavy music, where the energy is high, and the sound is loud. We’ve reached out to bands that fit the mood—whether it’s doom, black metal, or just the kind of music that shakes the walls. We wanted to create something that isn’t just another gig but feels like an event, something memorable for everyone who comes.
This isn’t about making money or turning it into some big production. It’s just a group of us putting in the effort to make a night we’d want to attend ourselves. Organizing it has been an interesting challenge—from booking the venue to figuring out promotion and ticketing—but it’s been worth it.
The concert will take place at Jeugdhuis Comma in Bruges, and we’re hoping to see a mix of familiar faces and new ones. If you’re into heavy music and want to be part of a night that’s built from pure passion for the scene, this is something worth checking out.
